ACCELRATED LEARNING

Closing Achievement gaps with integrated system of supports.

PURPOSE 

PDE has requested the Intermediate Units to train and support districts in implementing the Accelerated Learning Process during the 2022-2023 school year. They are recommending that each school district selects a team of 5-8 school administrators and lead teachers to assess and identify areas to strengthen in their current educational system. 

During the first day, teams will participate in activities to establish a focus and course of action each district would like to pursue. 

Subsequent trainings, at a later date, will then be provided in the four key factors of the Accelerated Learning Toolkit: High-Quality Academics, Supportive Learning Environments, Establishing a Healthy System Conditions, and Design a System of Scaffolded 
Supports, based upon the areas of need. 

Schools will attend those areas that will support each team as they work to improve student learning.
