Curriculum

The Career Readiness Boot Camp is designed to support the integration of CEW standards into core curriculum and lessons while increasing the completion of meaningful career benchmark indicators, including credentials and industry-based learning opportunities.

The Boot Camp will assist districts in meeting the statewide postsecondary attainment 2025 goal of 60 percent of Pennsylvanians with a postsecondary credential, certificate, or degree. Training will be provided by the Career Readiness State Training (CRST) team and will include the following:
• Career Readiness and Workforce in PA (Career Education and Work Standards)
• Industry-Based Learning
• Stakeholder and Workforce Partnerships
• Classroom and Workforce Alignment
• Supporting Resources
Districts are asked to consider sending teams of teachers, both primary and secondary, along with school administrators to this training. If teachers want to attend without a team, their registration will be accepted as well.

This training will be a 3 hour virtual training.

A link to the training will be sent to those that register on Friday, November 13, 2020.
