Concrete-Representational-Abstract: Whole Number Operations

This professional development opportunity will support educators' learning and implementation of the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) sequence of instruction, a evidence-based instruction/intervention practice, for multi-digit whole number operations. 

Objectives: 

At the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

Understand the benefits of and when to use CRA within the instructional hierarchy 
Model multi-digit addition and subtraction algorithms using a CRA sequence 
Model multi-digit multiplication and division algorithms using a CRA sequence
