Crafting Collaboration: Minecraft Education in the K-12 Classroom
November 3, 2026
This hands-on workshop introduces K-12 educators to Minecraft Education as a tool for building student collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving across content areas. No prior gaming experience is required. Participants will explore ready-to-teach lessons in math, ELA, science, and social studies, practice classroom management strategies for collaborative builds, and complete a team build challenge of their own. The session concludes with an overview of the PSEL Minecraft Build Challenge, Pennsylvania's statewide student build competition, including division structure, submission requirements, and how to register a team.
