Early Intervention Professional Development (Virtual)

This virtual professional development day is intended for TIU11 Early Intervention Staff only. This training day will cover essential items related to early intervention program delivery, including the following: Program Updates, Accessibility for Digital Content, Presuming Competence, Communication Empowerment through AAC, PTR for Young Children, Classroom Engagements, and Behavior Support through De-escalation and DR.
Participants in attendance for the full day will receive 6.5 hours towards Act 48. This day will be held virtually through Zoom, starting at 8:30 and concluding at 3:30 pm.

This training will focus on preventing challenging behaviors from occurring, teaching replacement behaviors, and reinforcing appropriate classroom behaviors. You will be given documents you can use to move through this process.
