Fall SAP Day

October 1, 2026

Fall SAP Day 2026 will provide an expanded, customized look at adolescent substance use, addiction, mental health, and practical school-based response. Presenters Scott Davis and Jim Gregg will explore current drug trends, recognizing impairment, early intervention strategies, addiction and treatment pathways, and psychological factors affecting adolescent substance use. Participants will also examine ACES indicators, adolescent brain development and impulse control, and why coping and recovery may look different for young people. The day will emphasize a holistic approach to recovery and the important role of peers, counselors, SAP teams, families, and other school-based supports. This training is designed for educators, counselors, nurses, administrators, SAP team members, medical/support staff, and others who work with adolescents.
