LEGO Robotics: An Introduction to LEGO Mindstorms and FIRST Robotics

Target audience: Teachers (Grades 4-8)  

Integrate LEGO Robotics into challenges to meet STEM/STEAM Education Standards and the PA-adopted Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) computer science standards. 

Anyone interested in Lego Mindstorms EV3 building, engineering, computer programming, and problem-solving is encouraged to attend. You do not have to be registered for the 2019-2020 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Competition. However, support for the annual competition will be provided, including modeling of the Robot Games. Learn how to design, build and program a rover style robot to complete specific physical commands in a specified environment. 

Lunch will be provided. Please contact us if you have dietary concerns or restrictions.

Educators in TIU 11 Region - $75 
Non-Educators in TIU 11 Region - $125  
Educators outside TIU 11 Region - $100 
Minimum: 8 participants
