RENEW (Resilience, Empowerment, and Natural Supports for Education and Work) is a person-centered, student driven intervention process that is designed to support students of transition age (14-21). RENEW targets students that are in jeopardy of not graduating from high school. Risk
factors for students include (but are not limited to) attendance, disciplinary referrals, and course performance. This tier three intervention is based around the facilitation of several maps and an action plan. LEA teams interested in RENEW must commit to 3.5 days of training and regular, follow-up data/action plan meetings. LEAs interested should have PBIS in place or at a minimum; there should be a willingness to implement PBIS through TIU 11 support.

Target Audience: Special Education Teachers, Regular Education Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Special Education Administration
