Safety Care Initial "Lite"

Betsy Cox and I are excited to see you Monday, February 26, 2024 for the SafetyCare Lite Initial training at HCCTC Annex. The address for the Annex building is below:

Parking is available in the stone lot across Rt 655. 

Enter through the side door on Rt 655. 

There will be a TIU 11 Training Event sign at the entrance

LUNCH: We will take 45 minutes for lunch on Monday. There are not many lunch options within close vicinity to HCCTC, so you may wish to pack a lunch. 

Here are some things to consider:

• We will be training in Version 7, Chapters 1-4. We will have manuals present for the training on Monday, but you may also print out your own or have an electronic copy if you choose. An email with the attached Version 7 manual will be sent today for your convenience. 
• Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move about easily. Items such as lightweight pants/sweatpants, yoga pants, or comfortable jeans work well. 
• Wear comfortable athletic shoes (no heels, no crocs-even with a backstrap, no sandals, no flip-flops).
• To pass a competency, the participant must be able to perform the move without errors and any prompting from the trainer. Participants who do not pass a competency or take a medical restriction will becertified with restrictions.
• There will be an open book test at the end of the training. You must earn 100% to pass and will be allowed to re-do any incorrect questions.
