Safety Care Recertification
October 21, 2025
Notice
Hello,
Tim and Lisa are excited to provide your Safety Care Recertification training on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025.
Here are a few reminders for a successful training event!
Training Details:
Location: TIU 11 Main Office, President's Room
Time: 8 am-3:30 pm
Lunch will be 30 minutes on your own. We highly recommend bringing your lunch with you.
Please bring your training manual (Version 7). We will have some extras.
Safety Care is a scripted and certificated training program. It is expected that all participants are present for the entirety of the training. If you have an emergency, please let your trainer know so that accommodations can be discussed.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move about easily. Items such as lightweight pants/sweatpants, yoga pants, or comfortable jeans work well. Wear comfortable athletic shoes (no heels, no crocs-even with a backstrap, no sandals, no flip-flops).
To pass a competency, you must be able to perform the move without errors and prompting from the trainer.
Participants who do not pass a competency or take a medical restriction will be certified with restrictions.
There will be an open-book test at the end of the training. You must earn 100% to pass and will be allowed to re-do any incorrect questions.
Thanks so much,
Tim Snare and Lisa Kruse
