Step Up to Writing Training

Join the Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11 as we team up with Voyager Sopris in offering Step Up to Writing Training! Step Up to Writing Fourth Edition features a comprehensive experience across four grade bands while targeting writing strategies to age levels, as well as subject-area learning. Focus on specic text types emphasized in state standards: informative/explanatory, opinion/argument, and narrative writing. This program has exible implementation options and is compatible with any core program.
Who Should Attend?
- Teachers grades 3+ interested in learning more about the Step Up to Writing Program
- Teachers who currently have the program and want to strengthen their understanding and implementation
- Administrators interested in learning more about the program to improve writing outcomes for their district
Registration information - Participants must attend one session from Overview Part 1 and one session from Overview Part 2 to receive credit for this workshop. A total of 6 Act 48 hours will be issued.
Please register for one session from Overview Part 1 and one session from Overview Part 2. This 6-hour training is being split 3-hour increments for schedule exibility and to reduce ZOOM weariness!
