SESSION 1 (ALL PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED TO ATTEND)

Supporting Grieving Students: Creating Grief-Informed School Environments

Date: November 5, 2025

Time: 8 am - 11 am 

Location: President's Room, TIU 11

Description: This introductory training is designed for school and agency personnel who want to learn the fundamentals of supporting grieving students and fostering a grief-informed school environment.


SESSION 2 (MAX 20 PARTICIPANTS)

School-Based Grief Groups: Peer Support Group Facilitator Training for School Professionals

Date: November 5, 2025

Time: Noon - 3 PM 

Location: President's Room, TIU 11

Description: In order to attend this training, you MUST ALSO ATTEND THE MORNING SESSION on Supporting Grieving Students.  

This in-depth training is designed for school and agency personnel who want to expand their knowledge of supporting grieving students and gain the skills to facilitate grief peer support groups within their school. Due to the interactive nature of this training, the full-day session is capped at a maximum of 20 participants.

 

*If attending both sessions, 6 hours of Act 48 credit will be given*
