TIU 11 Inservice

TIU 11 Annual Early Intervention Inservice will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Day 1 - TIU 11 Inservice - Safety Care
*TIU 11 Early Intervention Staff Only*

Safety-Care is a training program for staff working with children, adolescents, or adults who may exhibit challenging or dangerous behavior.  Participants in the course learn a wide variety of prevention skills so that they can each contribute to a physical and social environment that encourages behavior patterns that are positive and safe.  3.5 Act 48 hours will be awarded for recertification.  

AM Safety Care Recertification - President's Room - 8:00-11:30 am

PM Safety Care Recertification - President's Room - 12:00 - 3:30 pm

All Day Safety Care Initial - Director's Room - 8:00 - 3:30 pm - 1/2 lunch on your own

7.0 Act 48 hours will be awarded for those completing initial certification.  

Please note that sign-up is based on the Safety-Care document provided in the August EI newsletter.  Use that information to determine which session you are to register for.  
 

Day 2 - TIU11 Inservice - Program Updates/Reminders & Act 55 Training

Staff should bring their laptop computers.  

6.5 Act 48 credit hours will be awarded.
